House & Home
We bought an old brick ranch in an area that we wanted to live and began to demolish and rebuild it to our needs and desires to live in something pleasing to the eye and functional to our life style. The process took longer and cost more than if we built new but living in a trailer on the lot was out of the question with the subdivision convenants. We both have studios in our new space and it is visually pleasing to live in. The main concern was to hide the brick ranch and its eight foot ceilings, chopped up rooms and basically ugly appearance into a visually appealing home from inside and out. The above photograph is the Porte Cochere and to the right is the new stairs to the added second floor. Zeus protects and looks after the house 24/7.
The second image shows the office overlooking the yard and residence. The above photograph shows the stairway up to the second floor from the sitting area. The bottom photographs are of the office and landscaping of the yard designed and executed by my wife.
